Ive been searching for a while cant find anything just finished putting a g16b out of a vitara (distributer type) into my jimny and just trying to hook up an aftermarket tacho can anyone tell me wich wire on the coil to get signal from

Its the positive wire of the coil..

From reading threads on this and other forums i have seen posts saying the sierra tacho wont work..
I dont know if its fixable or not

Pretty sure OP is wanting to use an aftermarket tacho.

cant say for sure for jimnys/vitaras (as i assume you used that loom) but in a sierra, tacho positive is a brown wire. possibly the same for jimny/vitara?

Sierra tacho works fine with g16b vit, doesnt work with coil pack baleno.
Sierra is brown wire, iirc so too is the vit tacho wire.
