Exactly what is it?

One of our best vendors in the USofA is considering marketing it here and is wondering what the good and not-so-good features are on the this setup.

Yes, it is Myron at Zuiksoffroad.com... You can respond here, at the ZOR facebook page or in a post/PM at Zuksoffroad.com

I would like to know too!

You mean whacking an Aisin carb onto a Suzuki fitted with a Hitachi carb?

there are some other Carbies out there that are a direct bolt on , no emission controls at all though
I bought a couple off ebay a while back , still to really test it all properly , helps when a) the zook is running (changed motor) and b) I am in the same country as said zook :)

The Aus spec 1.3l Sierra carb is really quite troublesome and is terrible on angles. I don't see why anyone would bother fitting one.

I should say the Carbies that I have got are not off a Suzuki

also Sierra carbies from what I have experienced mostly have issues due to wear , which allow Vacuum leaks
from New they were actually not that bad on Angles , just that was a few years of abuse ago :)

New or rebuilt sierra carbs perform well
You can hardly expect them to behave like a new unit after 200,000kms and 30 years 4x4ing. All things considered they hold up quite well

Thanks all for your replies!

The message that I am hearing is that there is not - to anyone's knowledge - an actual product or common modification called an "aussie carb".

It isn't what I was expecting to hear, but it is useful information nonetheless!
