Hi,

I have 2 spare carbies for my 1L and thought it would be a good idea to rebuild them for later. I phoned some mob in Sydney and they gave me a price in the region of $80...this seems a bit rich - or is it? I have no idea what's in the kits so perhaps there's rare earth components (joking).

These are original carbies...whatever they are called (Hitachi's? I forget).

Is that price for real or what?

i paid $80 for a 1.3 rebuild, seems to be a good price

Hmm, ok. As I said, I have no idea but if that's the going rate, then that is what I'll have to pay.
