Hi all, so I have a 94 hardtop Sierra that I have been driving for over 4 years on 33" with a jk wrangler spoa setup from the states, unfortunately I got a canery at the start of the year... So I picked up a stock Sierra lwb ute, and I'm now tossing up what to do with it.

I'm going to keep this one 'relatively' tame on a set of 31x10.5 so here are my choices:-
2" spring lift, cut the guards, space the wheels and use my bushwacker flares. New shocks.
Or
Use new stock springs and the spoa axles/high shocks/high steer setup from my hardtop

Both are going to result in about the same about of lift and clearance, so I'm torn as to which path to travel... Pardon the pun

Thoughts???

(I am running 6.5 gears, custom 1.3/1.6 engine and myside carb, hd clutch, ect ect so power is of no concern, was doing 110km with 33" )

Personal preference aside, SPOA is illegal so unless you want to run in fear of more yellow stickers, I would cut gaurds to make tyres fit.

Rears up front with shock towers, 2" lifted springs in the rear with some leafs removed, make some sort of shock bar to mount the shocks on that suit the amount of travel you have, bash the guards, chuck some 31s on and call it a day. Easy to setup, it will perform well and will fly under the radar. Low is the new lift

Take a look at Mr rockys build. A good performer that still looks cool but not over done
