Does anyone have a NGV with a factory fitted reverse camera? Where is it fitted (yes, I know, it's on the back somewhere)? If possible could you post a picture please.

It sits just above the numberplate attached to the underside of the bumper between the numberplate lights.

Thanks - any chance of a picture? Is the number plate centered on your car?
What you have described sounds like exactly where I mounted the reverse camera on my '98 GV, and I find that somewhat low - I need to fiddle with the camera angle, to see if that will help any, but, right now, the "distance" guide lines are pretty much unuseable.
The reason I asked about the NGV is my daughter has just acquired an Escudo, with that body style, and she wants a reverse camera - it came with an aftermarket dual DIN, nav system which I'm pretty certain can take a camera, so I just have to find one and fit it.

Number plate is centred. This is where they go from factory.

Thanks much - I'll have a look at her car in a couple of days - see if I can use the same location.
You seem to be using an aftermarket camera there, does your's have the distance scale lines? Are they useable for you?

Yes it gets added by the dealer. It seems pretty accurate, well its better than the parking sensors on my old Work car (Holden Cruze)

I'm in Florida, visiting with my sister, and when I came in yesterday, there was a NGV in the driveway across the street - with the number plate, below the bumper, offset to the left - which is where I think it is on the Escudo.

I'm back in Guyana, my daughter stopped by yesterday, and yes, her number plate is offset to the left - I wonder how much of a difference that would make to the image...
