Depends on how tall you are. Swift GTi seats are the common choice as they are compact and fit easily on 1.3 driver's side slides.

Do they ride higher than the standard? I'm almost 6ft, and only 15 so I feel like I could keep growing... Hmm... BTW, is a Suzuki x-90 a cappacino?? Just occurred to me it might be...

Almost 6ft is a problem area in my opinion. Under that you can drive it "normally" and over that you drive with your knees beside the wheel. At circa 6' knees and wheel clash.

Yes GTi seats sit higher than factory.

I've just bought a factory Suzuki ute, it has WRX seats which seem to take up more room than standard ones, so, being 6ft myself, I'm on the look out for something a bit smaller, the ute I have has the smaller wheel, further towards the seat so that gives your knees a bit more room but the clutch sticks out way further than it should (about 30cm from the fire wall) which is a real pain but I'll adjust it down to where it should be and then it won't be too bad. the only other thing is the throttle position, it's fine for normal driving, but I drove this ute 9 hours a long the highway and my foot got a bit sore so I'm thinking of hooking up and hand throttle/cruise control for longer highway trips. having said this I can just about straighten my left leg behind the clutch and if it had a cruise control set up, it would be quite comfortable to drive for a long while.
No where near as much room as my SWB sierra though but it all depends on what you're used to.
The passenger side has plenty of room fyi.
hope this helps, any more questions just ask, good on you for getting into sierras young, I have done the same.

Thanks heaps for your help mate. Great to hear from someone first hand about exactly what I'm after. I noticed the clutch was really high on the SWB I sat in too. Must be a common thing?

Thanks again for the insight

Yeah maybe, you can adjust it down.
No worries, I know a bit and have a fair bit of experience working on them/4wding and camping in them, but listen to Gwagen, he knows all.

I've discovered that. Absolute wealth of knowledge. He does have a strong opinion tho. I guess something that suits one person may not suit another...

Perhaps the strong opinion has nothing to do with what does and does not suit steve .. we have all seen , or been , someone that spends a lot of time and money trying to make a duck swim like a fish. It doesnt finish nicely. I think you will find steve couldnt give 2 shits what you end up buying or doing with it but is trying to show you the reasons why you need to decide what you want from your vehicle and then using those wants and needs, buy the right vehicle for the job. Buying a vehicle that you like the look of and then trying to make it work for your intended purpose despite it not being suitable is stupid and steve has far more patience trying to explain that kindly han most people.

Is the Suzuki cappaccino a Suzuki x-90? I sat in a soft top and it had x-90 seats and they were pretty awesome, so I might try and find some of them.
