The latest model GVs are different.
Even though they meet all of the design specs, Suzuki has made the decision to class all GVs in the same category as their 2wd variant. That is 'soft roader' and maximum 15mm bigger tyres.

I can't tell you exactly when/what year Suzuki changed their classifications for the GV. The only way to know for sure is to look at the compliance plate on your vehicle.

So my 2003 GV has an MC compliance plate which means I can do a full 50 mm (2inches) above my stock 235/60/R16 tyres size?

Once again thanks heaps guys I've found a tyre shop in Archerfield Queensland that is pretty cheap so ill give them a call tomorrow and book it in.

Yes you are right. Just read the other live post. But I checked my 2004 gv and it is MC. Same as the original post vehicle.
