Looking at two 2010 2.4 litre petrol models atm. My mechanic has mentioned a problem with cracked heads. Any input would be helpful. Don't want to buy into huge cost problems. Been there done that. Cheers TT

Avoid the 2.4. The 3.2 would be my choice. The diesel (owned one) is OK but not great performance wise.

I made the mistake of buying a 2.4 GV. Was a great car until coolant wouldn't stay in it

Early 2.4s had head issues. I think 09-10 models were affected then Suzuki changed the head casting.

Hopefully Losfer chimes in soon with some info.

i tried to upload the pdf to photobucket but it wont let me. So here is the thread i made on another forum.

http://www.performanceforums.com/forums ... ng-to-hide

Sorry guys i am trying to keep the content here and not on other forums but seems photobucket dont like pdf.

There is a link to the technical service bulletin in that first post that suzuki america put out regarding the recall which suzuki australia denied there was a problem.

As stated i also have seen the cracked head outside the listed affected vins.
