Apparently they stopped a few months back. Really wishing i had bought rails before seats, now.

Also you need to prove you have real seats before they will sell rails now. Local dealer told me latter last week, then when i took my seats in to get photographed they told me the rest (they had an email from idealseat that morning)

So there goes the easy install option...

Interesting. Idealseat used to have someone who would make rails to suit whatever application was required. Perhaps the legality/product liability concerns scuttled this. I didn't think there was a "factory" Recaro Vitara seat base. I do know fatzook was making Recaro bases for vitaras.

I know the genuine factory Recaro mounts are of mass-produced OEM quality, the stuff Idealset was having made locally was not.

Decided to go the Corbeau option. I guess on the plus side it is a heap cheaper. Looks like i have to get them transhipped as usa deliver addresses are the only options.
