Hey guys
I am having trouble with the detent balls in my selector forks while installing trailgear 6.5s into my 1 litre switched case.
the issue that I have is that the lr/hr fork cant sit far enough into the centre housing to allow the 2wd/4wd to move back and forth.
the gear set seems to be 20mm or so too thick to allow the hr/lr fork to sit down far enough.
without the middle detent ball the gears shift fine and without the output gear bundle in the case they both shift fine.
i think this is something to do with not being able to select 2wd low but would still like to be able to install it all correctly.

anyone had this issue or able to suggest something ?

all i can think of is extending the groove in the selector shaft to allow the 2wd/4wd to move further but then that may defeat the purpose of the middle detent ball

i have a feeling I might have used a WT main shaft in place of my NT main shaft that might be causing the spacing issue :S
