So possible dumb questions incomming but, what size would the 2009 grand vitara turbo be and how hard would it be to replace?

Back story: browsing through a few car sites and i come accross a 2009 grand vitara going cheap so i thought 'yea i can have the cash for that and a trailer up in a few pays' so when i looked into the ad it has this: they dont need it and the turbo isnt working.

Im so considering contacting them and seeing if they would hold it for me while i raise funds for it and a car trailer awell as the fuel cost to get out to it.

Someone feel free to tell me im stupid and to not touch it with a 10 foot pole because it could have worse damage down the line in the engine if the turbo spat metal.

I assume by turbo you mean it's the diesel.

Stay right away. Unless they're paying you to take it and you're planing on swapping out the engine for something reliable it's too expensive.

Thanks, yea it was the diesel model, well back to trying to find a car that i like then.

Advice is still great aswell, so tempted but grr it has a dpf aswell.
