Ive searched the forum but cant find a conclusive answer...

I have a 1997 SJ80 soft top and need to replace the windscreen and seal. I am aware that the screen is a glue in job but there were 2 rubber seals around it (one around the metal frame and one around the outside of the windscreen) which i need to replace as they are old and were damaged when removing the original cracked screen.

Where can i buy the seals as there dont seem to be any listings for them anywhere?

Plenty of SJ413 stuff around but nothing for an SJ80. My local windscreen guy and the local auto parts shop cant find anything for a 97 model.

Or do i just use a length of generic U section frame seal and then glue the screen in place on top?

have you tried ebay? sometimes you can find rare parts there.

The pinchweld cover is generic. The external trim is unique. Try a dealer?
