well i had another go this arvo, put another fuse in and bam it ran, ran well got in to go for a drive, drove 10m and pop! the fuse went

sounds like something is shorting out, start unplugging anything with a white/black wire
|

ok i really need to fix this, i had a look around this arvo and can't find n e thing at all, can n e one think of n e thing it could be?

had a look around and found a wire in the loom that had rub in to the battery box, and was shorting out, i got a pease of wire and started the car, and put it on the wire then on the body, and it triped the fuse, so hopefully its solved

ok, need help again please!
i warmed the zook up today took off down the street and died,
i started it again and it started then died straight away, started again but had to keep reving it to keep it goin, its getting fuel threw the fuel line in to the carby and spark on all cylinders, n e ideas? thanks

sounds like the idle jet in the carby is blocked....same thing happened to mine a bit........just swap plug leads 2 and 3 over....start the car and rev it a few times, letting it backfire out the carby......turn it off swap the leads back to normal and see how it goes after that

well it turned out to be a whole lot of water in the fuel tank. don't know how it got there, took the tank out, while parked on the side of the road drained it and pumped all the water out of the lines and filled it up again, after a few goes its goin

does this work/is it safe?
mine wont idle now but runs fine(ish)

it worked for me.....or you could pull the carby apart and clean it all out, making sure you clean out the fuel bowl and idle jet, change fuel filters, possibly putting another fuel filter inline
i did the plug lead thing mostly as a temporary repair on the side of the road
