I've had a horror run with toyo bearings on the jackshaft. One set lasted less than 1000km. It was wearing the shit out of the end and almost spat an end cap.
I put in another batch and there was slop, the shaft could move up and down a bit. It got worse and worse, on a slight test run.
Both sets had a little play and one uni (which almost spat an end cap) looked to be machined crooked. Total pieces of shit. Out of desperation, I found a set of used 30yr old koyo (which I pulled out of an old shaft) and all good.
Im so annoyed with the toyo shit bearings, doing preventative maintenance and getting fucked in the face
