Ahh good. Was feeling a bit sad when i read people were getting a lot more than i was.
Just just myself a set of 6.1 gears. Hopefully that should help a bit.
So i do completely rule out fuel pump and filter though?

I dont understand this stuff about how many kilometers to a tank, cars use petrol, so it should be kilometers per liter, or liters per 100 kilometers.

agreed. the other one that spins me out is using time to measure distance
i used to get asked a lot how long the drive from katherine to darwin takes,
my reply used to piss people off because it could take 1.5 hours or 5 hours
depending on weather i rode or drove. it is 300km so how fast do you drive?

I thought it was generally accepted that if you say km/tank you mean full tank which in my zook is 40L so 400km/40L = 10L/100km.

Also, as far as time to measure distance, if I said brisbane to sydney was 8-10 hours, I'd be talking about my average trip time, in a said vehicle, and an average journey (not a major traffic incident) and it's generally when following the speed limit.

But yes, as you say it's not the correct way to measure, just thought I'd clarify as to how I normally use those expressions.

This appears to be, but as many say, I have a big dent, dents, whatever, so how much fuel does it hold, NFI

Pity it blows smoke on the changes when I go too hard :(

What colour is the smoke? If it's black, your either not getting enough airflow or your running too rich, both of which will give you shit fuel economy.

If it's blue, there is something wrong with your motor.

Also to get more accurate fuel consumption figures if your running 31's on stock speedo, multiply your km reading by 1.2
