Have you got gears? You won't enjoy 32's on stock gearing. Hell 29's is a PITA.

I don't mean to keep harping on, but before you throw big tyres on, get your gearing right for them, I was annoyed that the zook I bought had 29's and stock gears (didn't realise at the time, I didn't know enough about zooks) and I had to save up to get gears. I was always going to get gears anyway, but it was pretty useless to drive around until I got them, really sluggish and taking off was harder on the clutch than I'd like.

Just letting you know, I mean yeh go for the tyres and lift but don't forget to gear it properly!

Nope I havnt forgoten that lol, my tansfer needs abit of tlc so 6:5.1 gears are on the list as well

Ive got my new rims and my 32s and lift kit sitting in the garage so like I said befor slowly the parts are coming in lol, just got get someone to fit them lol

does any one know how to get the hardened cv's from low range in ive just put all new seals and a rear air locker in the front and the bell off the cv is 5mm bigger then the opening in the housing and ive tried everything to make it fit if i cant get it in im gonna start grinding the housing bigger

they just wont fit im gonna try taking the whole knuckle off and then putting them in but if it doesnt fit im gettin the grinder

You've just answered your own question. The knuckle has to come off to fit them, and even then they are fiddly to fit.

Well if you got the hd cvs and axles from low range, you shouldnt have to lol, anless you drive it really really really hard lol

It's not 10 times longer really - sure, there's a few more bolts, but it's not a bad idea to check the condition of the kingpin bearings and seals.

Whilst is theoretically possible to break anything, I'm pretty confident you won't be pulling them out because you've broken one. The hub bolts are weaker than the CV's, and they're a convenient and quick item to change on the track, in the scheme of things.

It's still not a bad idea to pull the CV's from time to time though. They're a bit harder on inner axle seals, so you might have them out to change the seals occasionally.
