Ok. It's beer o'clock give me a minute. I had the terminal closest to the block on the starter motor connected to the negative. I took this off and it worked properly. But I had it hooked up to the negative on the g13ba and it worked properly.

A pic would probs be better for explanation but there should not be a negative connected to any starter terminal. The starter earths through it metal housing which is connected to the engine block. The only wires going to the actual starter should be a positive 12V feed and a solenoid trigger wire (thin low current).

The only place for the negative lead should be either the metal starter body or engine block
