I dont think anyone is saying to not get lockers. Just don't get them yet, because it can end up bad if you don't know how a twin locked sierra behaves in particular situations.

I'm twin locked and love where it takes me and love the thrill, but if i didnt know how to drive my sierra i would have rolled it 100 times by now.
