I have just about finished my conversion.
And similarly I don't have the noise suppressor on the loom that came with my motor.
Would like to know if you ended up making your own one and if it worked?
If so I'll make a trip to Jaycar.

Another question:

Currently I have the sierra noise filter in place.
But it's only got 3 wires where as the vitara one has 4 from looking at the diagrams.
As far I can tell the sierra one is just missing an additional cap.
It appears to have the same 2.2K resister.

When I try and crank the engine I get everything minus fuel injector pulse. No codes show up either.
If I remove the sierra noise filter all together then I get (41 - Ignition Fail Safe) which makes sense.

What is the ECU expecting to see on the brown wire after it has passed through the filter?

There are only three terminals, the Sierra noise filter is probably the same one if it came from an EFI model. The filter just takes off high frequency/high voltage spikes what you should see on the EFI side is an attenuated version of what you have on the coil side.

In the end I got mine going. My issue was that the dizzy had been timed 180 degrees out. Its always the simple things.
So yes I can confirm the sierra noise filter and condenser work fine and it came from a carb 1.3L.

I think in later model efi setups (7 pin dizzy with coil and igniter all integrated) they
also combined the noise filter and condenser into once device, hence 4 pins.

ie: The following 2 devices:

The little black box behind the coil.

became something like this:

I nearly pulled this off my Grand Vitara to try it.

Also refer to this wiring diagram, see item number 14

You don't need a condenser with the EFI system but you do need the noise suppressor. I wouldn't run it with just the capacitor from the 413, you could damage the ECU if you're not limiting the current into the input. Those noise suppressors were, as far as I know, fitted to all of the EFI Suzukis so you should be able to pick one up from a breaker easily enough, it is the same as the one that you linked above:

The later 7-pin distributors still had the noise suppressor, on my 8V Vit it sticks out of the wiring loom by the wiper motor.
