Hay dank I dunno what lights you looked at but the hanma lights are built around a extruded alloy frame with stainless mounting bolts, I replace them with 8.8 high tensile bolts as stainless isn't the best when used in a stressed fitting, and seeing as lexan is just a brand name I don't see how it can be copied, polycarbonate is polycarbonate no matter what the brand name is. But for clarification the hanma lights have a glass cover that is strong enough to have a wallabie hit it at speed.

I have looked at a stack of light bars and thre are a few that are brighter Then the hanma bars but they are all at least 4 times the price so they need to be better.

Hey Dank, talking up your products is a good way to sell them but replying to people actually wanting to buy something is a better one! Image

haha no worries Dank i just wanted something that was much better on my car than what i had and these to me seem like the best option without spending heaps of money it seems to be of pretty good quality from what i can tell. just after i opened the box i took it show my bro in the room next to mine whacked it pretty hard on the door frame and yet no damage hahah. for strenght wise that the most ipact that it will get other than vibration from vic country road. i don't do much night driving on roads where i'll be able to use it so to me its money worth spending if i was to go to the off self more expensive light bars it would just be a waste of money.

Check the business thread mate. www.kpd4x4.com is the website, but i don't have everything listed there. I can get pretty much anything so just shoot me a PM with your inquiry.

Maybe Hanma have updated or changed their lightbars Shep as the last lot that came from them over a year ago now were cast housings and pretty bad quality when I was doing testing. When i said lexan, there are different grades of optical quality polycarbonate as far as I'm aware. and a lot of bars use only a diffusion lens on the front meaning alot of light bounces round inside the housing before it heads out of the bar. Individually reflected LEDs on a bar will give the best/better result.

I have a 30 inch Lightbar on my sierra windscreen frame. You can fit a 40 inch but it will be full width of the frame...probably like Sheps, but i haven't seen a pic of his.

Sideways i'm sorry mate its been a busy week. You have a PM buddy.
