Spoke to a few peeps including my old man (Mechanic) and he didnt think it was necessary.. however that might of been a mistake?.. I have discovered tonight that the exhaust has a leak in the first muffler.. The ute is much more noisy from that spot, could a poorly or broken exhaust system be a possible cause? Condensors arent usually a service item, but when you have a missfire you cant put your finger on it pays to bung a new one in to be sure FWIW I have only ever seen one cause a problem, was my car too, after I went through everything else Sorry to harp on this, but for the sake of a few dollars, change the condensor. I was a roadservice tech for many years and was caught out once by this, but never again. Took me a couple of hours to diagnose. Just change the condensor, and if it fixes the problem, great, if not, well at least you can rule it out.
10-4 Will pick up one tomoz

what and he did'nt hav the nouse to look up an ignition catologue. Bloody hopeless some of these dudes. Best off taking your one out and take it to them as a sample, if he can be bothered to check it against the other ones they have in stock. If they don't have an exact match, take the closest one they have and make it fit. They all do the same thing, they just fit differently.

Yeh did that, the contact distance was too large (adjusted), scrubbed up the point surfaces and what not..
For some reason, the whole dizzy mount was cracked right over to the left?!?
I hadn't noticed it.. My mate spotted it straight out and centred it..
Adjusted the timing obviously and yeh all is well!!

Mate said that should sort out the fuel consumption and overheating.. well it wasn't overheating, but was running hotter than it should...

haha - Oh dear..
Just went to move the ute back under the car port, started 1st time.. putted over (as it was cold) it stopped..
Then the engine didnt want to turn over.,
Had the key cranked for ages.. no deal...
Felt like it was flooded.. that constant try for ignition..
Left it 3 mins.. started again.. didnt catch the choke in time.. same thing..
Could this be something not adjusted just right??
After I pushed her into the bay, I tried again.. (3mins say) and it started.. rang for a until i switched it off..
I'm a bit worried that might happen on a hill or intersection..
Will try again tomoz and report back..
