Post subject:  Need some tips on my exo cage

well as some of you probably know, the jimny decided to have rolly polly and the roll cage pushed into the window frame. what can we support or strenghthen to stop it from twistin and collapsing.

You can't. And that is the biggest problem with an EXO. Because you are fitting it outside the car, triangulation is impossible unless you drill holes through your car to pass tubes through.

If you want a cage that works, go internal.

Why not put a diagonal midway inside the van? leaving all external, but with top 2 points of 'X'-bar bolted through the roof, and bottom 2 through the floor to your chassis?

Not sure if you've seen the Safety Devices option (but for internal on a SJ).

Remove the rear triangle windows and replace them with rubber sheet - run a brace through them behind the drivers seat. Forget about ever having passengers in the back - run a big X from opposing rear corners to the hoop over the targa bar. Run a brace in front of the rear high stop light above the tailgate. Add a brace across the bottom of the windscreen.
