Just scored meself a fiberglass top for the sierra(front and rear sections). Doesn't have the mounts that go on the body tho. Anybody got any pics of how these tops are mounted to give me a rough idea?

Cheers Dan

they are pretty much a block of plastic baout 150mmx25mmx100mm with one edge along the 150mm edge chamfered so that they sit within the inside of the canopy.

Will try and get a photo this weekend for you.

I know suzistore have the mounts for the fibreglass top on my maruti. Perhaps they have them for your swb also?
They were reasonably priced too.

What brand of fibreglass roof?

This is how my flexiglass one is mounted (the front is almost standard, the back is completely custom):

Windscreen frame latches:

Front panel rear/side latches:

Rear section latches (x4):

sorry about the poor quality of the last photo, I uploaded it ages ago for someone...

Anyway the system works good enough. It makes taking both panels on and off a very simple easy quick job :).
However the front panel I usually leave on when 4wding. And when the vehicle starts twisting and flexing it has a habit of popping the clips undone due to the amount of flex in a Sierra body.
