Having a few problems with 92 swb sierra G13b
Problem 1
When lights are switched on, car idles up to 2000rpm
problem 2
Battery light comes on under 1500 rpm

Check your earth points, funny problems like this can be caused by bad earths.

First of all check your belt. Is it tight enough and in good order? Then check the charge rate with a multimeter. Should be above 13v.
The idle up issue is to do with the carbie and can be adjusted.
