hey just wondering how hard it is to put power steering onto a sirra i have a 1.6 8v engine at the moment not sure if that makes any differnce

the jimny kit is the easiest mate as its bolt up,box wise anyway im unsure on the pump side of things.But they are dear if you are lucky enough to come by a setup.

Or the Vitara kits are pretty good,especially now that BenT off here makes an adaptor kit to help mount the box inline and mount the pump etc too.

Or the cresida box from earlier models which i also think BenT makes mounting kits for.so all are reasonably easy then just get lines made up to suit.Was one of the best mods i done on mine for sure

Yeh wish i kept the vitara steering i sold recently. Im about to fit a front Lockrite, so the steering gonna be even heavier than it is now.

You could also use a Toyota steering box which has a forward facing pitman arm on it ( 60, 79 series etc.) this is useful for when you move your diff forward down the track, but isnt a bolt on mod like the others.
