lately my coily is idling high at 2000 - 2300 rpm. When you go into gear and start driving the revs drop and it drives normally, but will idle high as soon as you go into neutral or hold the clutch in. Most of the time it stays at a normal running temperature..... but sometimes it will start to heat up alot after a short drive (15 - 20mins on road). it will get so hot that the coolant will flush out of the system help me |

Air bubble in the cooling system. When it's cold take the cap off and fill up the radiator. Run up the engine with the cap off till it's hot, make sure the heater is on hot too |

I have tried what you said scrawn, and took it for a test drive and it seems ok. I did notice that when i started it this morning for the first time that as it warmed up to normal running temp that the idle also went up. Time to have the carby checked out? |
