Just want to thank everyone who offered suggestion during my G16A rebuild ... Finally got all the electrics sorted this evening and fired the thing up for the first time....
The previous owner had an alarm in the car with an imobiliser! - when I stipped out the wiring loom I removed the alarm - but it still had the ignition wire cut! I re-wired all the ignition and cleaned everything up. The results are seen in the link to my youtube video of it..
It does need a tune, as I dont have a timing light - but I think it's pretty close.... a few things need doing still, but no smoke and smooth....
