Usually G16A is carby (sometimes TBI) and G16B is MPFI.. Blocks are basically identical but pistons are different for 16Valve. |

Sounds like what you have there is a bit of a homemade hybrid .. G16A carby block. G16B 16 valve pistons. G16B head with MPFI. Bearings are same between G16 & G16B. |

I have a MPFI inlet and throttle body. I might have an angle drive dizzy housing, would have to look. $100 for a 1.0 transfer is OK... Find me one too. |

I had a G16A 16valve, was originally from a swift, well the head was at least, also had non bored pistons and factory bearings in it leading me to believe the engine had never been fiddled with |

16v you need the 16v dissy. You can make the Sierra one fit and work bit it won't be right, you will have oil leaks and it won't rev past 5k best off getting the suited parts |
