If I get some F100 rims, 7's or 8's with my Couragia 31's (just over 30) Approximately how far will tyres protrude from body work? i have wheel flare extensions already. It was running 32 x 16 with a -13 offset with previous owner. Pix would be nice if anyone has this set up cheers christover |

Being the v6 he had to grind the caliper a fair bit to get em to fit, & thay only JUST fit, yours should be fine as far as brake's go, just the sticky outy bit. |

LWB has bigger brakes apparently, so hope that don't affect anything. May be why it had 16's on it before. I'd better look into that, cheers christover |

Stekky they are -13 not 28, somebody cant work a tape and maths I have same, with 235's they use every bit of my 50mm clark rubber flares Brakes will be fine, its the later widebody ones and GV's with the different rotor offset thats trouble |

Yer knew about the brake's, his had to be shaved a fair bit to fit 15's on. A vit will be fine tho.. |

you'll also have clearance dramas on the rear of the wheel arch that a hammer sorts out, larger tyres will still hit even with a bodylift so some cutting needs to be done, moving the wheels forward a bit helps a lot as well |

Guards were done by previous owner to suit 32's on 16 x7's, so I'm hoping it will be right already for 31's on 15 x7 or 8. That will depend on offset and rim width, too, I guess. Time will tell. christover |

Its true they do look small, but it must be a 16" rim thing, cos they tall n skinny, they dont look big. |

It has got bump stop spacers as well as guard massaging |

It has to be from a 4wd f100, or the free wheeling hub won't fit thru. But stud pattern is same. |

They would have to be 235/85/16s tyres wouldn't they, as thats the only real common tall/narrow size for a 16" rim? They come out to about 31.6" overall. They actually look pretty damn good on that, gives that extra bit of clearance and they actually look less cop bait then the usual smaller diameter but wider tyres. Pretty good price wise as well for a 16" tyre. Narrower tyre probably helped a shitload with the clearance also. Interesting... |

Yes I think that is the size, he is fitting his 32's to a LWB Sierra, I think. I like 31's due to the fact that they are aplenty anywhere in Aus, and cheaper in the outback, than rarer sizes. Plus I have some already, and the rims be cheaper, too. christover |

Interesting... yep, all those reasons are why im looking at getting a set Only problem is i need to find some GV steel rims and i have no idea how they will sit in terms of offset. I hope they sit inward a little so they don't hit my guards. From what i can find there one of the few tyre sizes that measure close to 32x9.5 and arent a very aggressive tread like simex extreme trekker (i think) |

I'm pretty sure the 16"rims were Kings with a -13 offset |

Mine only just sit proud of the guards . Mine are also 15inch rims and the calipers needed a little grinding whereas the F100 rims didn't need the grinding. Not sure if this is relavant but I can get photo's and check measurements if needed. |
