A coily body will bolt to a leafy chassis as long as it is a 1.3 chassis.
Go an NT chassis if you have a choice and put WT diffs under it... Do a RUF while you're at it.
Little things like rear bumper may need brackets made up but thats no drama.

id just weld it..

Put the whole WT diff in the front of the coily.

Or

Can you put a LowPinion 1.3 centre in the front, and re arrange your steering arms? Change hub steering arms etc?

Coily HighPinion front diff centre is normal 1.3 size, unlike Jimny HP(1Lsize)

Or

Pull it out, weld it. optional: Fit power steering.

So it goes to option 1 :lol:

If i had coils, i wouldnt go back to leafs.. Even if it is shit coils/struts..

sick of not being able 2 put air locker in the front of my coily.I got a leaf sprung chassis sitting around will it fit onto my coily body. make life so much easier going back 2 a leafy again. .

Larger tyres won't rub on front springs at steering lock. 2... More axle outside the spring allows for more leverage on the spring and results in better articulation. RUF is Rear Up Front... Fitting rear springs to the front of the car allows for a smoother ride and better travel due to the longer spring. They also move the diff forward a bit so tyres rubbing on firewall isn't an issue. There are a few different methods for carrying out a RUF but do a search and you'll find one you are happy with.

Coily HighPinion front diff centre is normal 1.3 size, unlike Jimny HP(1Lsize) Or Pull it out, weld it. optional: Fit power steering. yeah the low pin diff fits in but to change stearing arms to a leaf sprung setup you need the hubs off it. but when you change that the stub axle on a leaf is longer then a coily so then the axle is to short. i tryed swaping axels and cv's but leaf sprung cv is 22 teath splin an coily is 19 so wat ever you do it wont fit.

The width difference is a massive 15mm or so per side, not a huge amount that i would be to worried about. I'd be looking at the miriad of other options long before looking to just stick a leafy chassis underneath.
