My mate has fitted this motor to his zook (all of the mechanical work has been done) he just needs to wire it and has no idea how to
Its an M16A from a vit...all of the gearbox mounting and other associated junk has been done but we cant find anyone locally to wire it...can anyone interstate or locally? make a loom up for us to give it the necessary powers and earths and what not so we can get it chugging along? Thanks Matt P.S. It has a complete loom, ecu, fusebox etc |

I don't believe the M16A was ever installed in the Vitara... Liana's, SX4's and Swift Sports only I think... Your best bet may be to take it to a competent auto electrician to do all of the wiring if you are not confident of doing it yourself.. |

if someone can chop up the loom and label it for the basics (it cant need much as a lot of it is from a later model car with crap the zook doesnt have or need) we can handle it...we dont want it done for free either! so it could be an SX4 motor it is an M16A yeah? |

If its a 1.6, DOHC Suzuki engine I'd say so... |

ohh and your mate is in a world of pain to get that running in his sierra , the cheapest option would be an aftermarket ecu . cant remember off the top of my head but it has something to do with the immobiliser or body control management (im thinking immobiliser) |

If you have the key and the ignition, it should be better... A chip is in the key for the immoboliser.. Looks like an 'm' motor on a 'g' series sierra box! |

if you can track down a immobiliser transponder & a blank key it can be made to work. StupidZooK had to do it when putting an EJ25 out of a forester into a L Series Subaru. |

All u gotta do is tape key in ignition and leave it tucked under the dash. Less than ideal but no way to bypass coded key |
