Is it worth putting my weber on a 93vit? Its jetted for a gemmie. I heard there not good offroad. It stalls now and then when you do handbrakers in the gemmie? Same effect as hill climbs i suppose?

the ones designed for street cars are no good off road, choppy has a webber and he was saying the street ones are useless on angles, but you can get ones designed for offroad that handle angles better (according to his uncle mechanic who put it on the car)
I wouldn't bother putting a street one on it, unless its only for street driving

thats just my understanding of them anyway, other people will have different views and understandings of them

Got a Weber DGAV for my 90 Vitara. Pretty good performance increase and sounds great too, even though it's not properly tuned. I just did a basic tune when I put it on. Only real issue that I have with it is that it likes dieseling when I turn it off. Might go completely with a good tune.

Got mine from a guy on ebay that reconditions carbies. Gem... somthing. He will have one specifically for the sierra/vitara. Just make sure you know if you want a choke or not.

Was a little worried about taking 4WD at first, but never had an issue , even on the really steep stuff.

WRONG SI3RR4 it wasnt my uncle  ne way yeah the guy that put mine on told me theres a few different models, apparently the one ive got on my sierra is 'more' designed for offroad use then some models. yes it will still stall at some point. i haven't had any issues with mine as long as you keep the revs up. the main thing is boucning around as the fuel moves in the boul. in saying that i havent done too much offraod work in it since i got it, have done a few small hills and seemed fine. freaking good on road.

no no no no no no no........

you allready have what is a great carby off-road. all they need is to be put on a gas analyser to get the CO mixture correct and they will run heaps better. (they all run too rich from factory)
