i have got 6 100 watt spot lights what size wire should i wire them up with.

i would be using 3 40amp relays.. 1 to run 2 spotties.

minimu of 4mm cabling

might want to upgrade the alt. before trying to melt the nightlife....
Would also be worth tracking down one of the aftermarket headlight looms available(or make your own) I think you will find 600watt of lighting a little bit of overkill...

Watts divided by Volts equals Amps...
600 divided by 12 equals 50 Amps.
As suggested above run them in pairs with 30A relays and 30A wire.. Overkill is always good with electrics... Don't forget fuses between power and relays as well as between relays and lights.
A Falcon alt(or other larger alt) will be needed if you want to drive the car too.

your crazy. i see people come into work thinking that if they get a heap of cheap spotties they will be brighter then 2 dearer brands. but you dont. What brand of lights you have??
You might be able to lower your bulb size to 55w 80% bulbs and this will give you around same amount of light and lower current draw.

60w headlamps x2
40w combined parkers
sterio around 500w
then spoties, 600w
plus igntion
thats 100amps.
you would need 1 BXU12120A universal alt. Thats a bosch number

where ya gonna mount them all? you'll need a couple of extra cylinders to over come wind resistance haha. na can never have too many spots.

also wire each pair to a seperate switch so three switches much niser that way i think

yer i already have the falcon alternator i have 4 spotties on the roof rack and 2 on bullbar i will wire them up soon as i have the time to do so
