Post subject:  Vitara 5.12 ring and pinion into sierra question

Ok ive sold the 5.12 ring and pinion to a fella that's putting them into his sierra and im not to sure if he would need any of this stuff left over from the center.
I spoke to him today on the phone and he mentioned that sierra diffs have a crush tube that the bearings sit on but he wasn't sure if vitaras have the same if so he needs that as well....is there something here that im missing :?

nope doesnt need it, crush tube is a one off thing so he has to buy a new one regardless

Make sure you don't remove the pinion bearings off the pinion as you don't want to loose the shim that sets the pinion height

Ok ill do my best :P tried undoing the nut on it today with a socket and no go so need to find a rattle gun :roll:
