Ok just refitted the lokka to my rear diff for the 3rd time after having suzistore check it over and give it a clean bill of health.
It just slips in and out constantly when accelerating to the point where im waiting for it to explode.
Having accertained that the center is not the problem could it be that my diff housing is so bent that it is causing the problems, it does look a little bit like this /-~\.
Ive pulled that fuuckin diff out 3 times now and its really begining to shit me now.

any idea's ??? :x

when you have the axles out 'eyeball' down the tube. if it does not look concentric than you may have a bent diff. if not, you have what an auto locker does best.

my eyeball skill are failing me as i get older, i might put a level on the tyres when i remove the diff assembly.

measured from the bottom and top lips of the rim and got
124.1 cm for the top
127.5 cm for the bottom

so i guess its official, ive got a bent diff. But would it be causing my drama's with the lokka.

this gives you some idea how bent it is, looking down the diff housing
only half of the opening is visable at the other end...

haha thats my banana diff thats why i dont dune jump my car anymore aye and i also got the precautions to if i do decide to jump it thats why i got the angle welded all the way across my diff front and rear :)

i have been told from my brothers mate thats works at W.A diffs thatyuo cant really get rid off the clicking noise from the lockers but i got told equal tyre pressures help aswell :)

man ive had it with this stupid thing, 2 separate shops have given the center the thumbs up, just put a new diff housing in and axles to replace the bent items and it still dont work properly, in fact it was worse than when it was bent.
Can i weld the lockrite together to make a spool or should i just fork out the $$$ and buy one.

nice work on the bending mick =) haha

you should get your new one strengthened - you drive way too hard for standard diffs not to bed - even mine have bent on me and im way gentler than you =P

Airlockers are pretty awesome...

With yours though - have you checked the axles are ok as well? That they didnt also bend?

yeah axles bent as well so i changed them also and lokka still rooted.
I will get around to strengthening the housing one day, but ive still got another couple in the shed for when i bend em again.
