I got a lot of gearshift give when the transfer case is selecting 4H - kinda feels like i'm selecting neutral the gate is so wide, but otherwise the gating is fine on the other ranges.

Wondering if this is typical of a worn bushing? Just seems a little strange to me that only one range selection gate would wear out without others being affecting at least a little.

Pull you stick out & find out, theselector bolt could be worn to, no amount of typing will fix it. :P

Too hungover right now to deal with car repairs - i'd rather just type and ask - no need for fast movements or loud noises, or thinking, right now!!! A computer screen I can deal with!

No replacement bushing to put on the shift anyway.
