hey guy's I've aquired a welded rocklobster gear, but can't figure out weither i need to run a 1L gear off of it or a 1.3 Tcase gear... cheers |

Neither.....you need to sell it to me!!! Pretty sure 1.3 case. Could be wrong though, it's kind of a 50/50 chance isn't it! |

What evs, i payed for the 1L case and gears and i have spare 1.3 gears from putting 6.5s in my swb. I have multiply Tcase's and diffs and front housings |

Maybe /maybe not. 31 Zook, don't be detered, properly has a scale of 1 to 10 with most things, I have had a couple of these before the availability of better stuff. The first gear set was done by Zenith Engineering and lasted just less than three outings, second one was done by Milne Engineering and was punished for years, as far as I know it could be still going. To be fair to Zenith it was a one off and Milne had the hindsight of seeing the broken one before he did our second attempt. |

haha you guys are funny Um, i got off work early to come home and put it all together And btw the welded gear i got is TIG'd together, while it's just a form of welding the bead and neatness of it makes me think it was done by a engineering shop.... |

quick update, mum took the camera to canberra and i have a $60 phone without camera, so no pics, sory fellas. she is all together, i printed off the picture 303zuke posted up and stuck it on my wall, i pretty much built it off of that and the fsm i have, i managed to press bearings onto the wrong input shaft.... |

The series 1 rockhopper I have was one of the first and its a welded gear and I held up fine to 33 lockers just I wanted more so I got the 6.5s. I think that gear was a "proper one" not a home made one. Nik |

cheers NIK, nothing last long with you does it... got my twin sticks all tacked together, man it's confusing just trying to work out which stick is designed to do what... ill through something up in the fab section later to night |

Grave dig i shim'd up my Tcase and stuck it all together today and now im happy to report a little vibration, but all is holding oil and not making any funky noises or whines |
