Can anyone tell me how the links are positioned for windsceen wipers.
I took out the motor when painting the windscreen surround. Now the wipers sit at 45 degrees go down to start with and then stop in the middle of the windscreen.

can you tell me where the motor is, left or right side?
Mine is really slow and I have a couple laying around so was going to poke around under the dash and see if I can replace it, however access is pretty tight...

Passenger side. Pop out the plastic cover on top of the dash. Unbolt the top of the windscreen release the side catches and fold the indscreen down. I assume you have a soft top.

Dave the wipers are auto parking so what you do is remove the wipers and then turn the switch on and off.. It will run the motor and then stop at the park position.. Refit wiper arms...

Thats my problem. They auto park in the middle of the windscreen.
When they start they go down, when they come back up they go past the "park" position before returning to it.
This is why I think I have the winsscreen motor linkages installed incorrectly.

pop the joint off the wiper motor, rotate the wiper blades to the base then pop the ball joint back in. you have the linkage hooked up for halfway through a revolution.
