iv recently did a strut tower flip in my GV, it has given me roughly 50mm of extra down travel.
now that is a bit of extra handy down travel but after taking it out for test 4x4 every time i hit a bump at speed (around 40) i hear what i think is the front struts bottoming out and on odd occasions the tires scrubbing a little (this is only at flex and im not to worried about that atm as it only happens at close to full lock)
my current suspension setup upfront is 30mm raised dobinsion springs and struts with a 15mm coil spacer and 50mm strut tower flip.
what would be the best way to stop it bottoming out?
am i right in thinking that i have a spare pair of 15mm coil spacers that i can chuck in the front to help limit up travel and level out the front?
cheers
