hey guys, ive put a gti mk3 engine in a sierra for a mate and im having trouble with the ecu. for some reason i have a vary faint inconsistant injection pulse. i am fairly confident with all my wiring and everything the ecu needs seems to be there eg b+ ignition feeds earths crank angle sensor spark ignition input starter feed tps afm all other sensors ect. all these things can be tested indiviually and seem fine. injectors, fuel pressure, spark and compression are all good. engine some times almosts fires while cranking and can be started up using aro start but stall strait away. the guy who sold us the parts said it was running fine but the ecu is chipped does anybody run a gti mk3 or has anybody ever had trouble like this? cheers chris. |

mate redlinegti is the go..have you checked you 12+??I am running an aftermarket ecu on my gti engine, but had similar problem with a bad earth to the ecu.make sure your getting power to all the necessary components/sensors and the ecu(make sure the ecu gets 12+ direct from the battery via a relay)..
