hey guys sort of new o the siera game, just wondering if a g13ba will bolt straight in and if the manifolds off my g13a will fit straight on? if not will the manifold off the g13ba take the standard sierra carby? all help would be greatly apprieciated thanks dan |

A standard sierra has a g13ba motor already. Has yours been modified? The g13a is out of a swift. They are all very similar motors. 1298 or 1324cc Your post was very hard to read. What type/year of sierra do you have? If the g13a is in the car already, yes swap everything to the g13ba. (the 'ba' should be setup already anyway) |

Early Swift and Sierra 1.3s are both G13A, 1324cc The G13BA (1298cc) found its way into the engine line up during 1989 IIRC... |

hey guys is a early 85 nt and yer its the 1324cc but really tiered and loves its oil lol was goin to put a 13ba in it cause a mate has one and it goes noticably different |

Get an adaptor kit and it just about does everything for you.... 
Though obviously if you go G16B its EFI, and the electrical stuff will be the hard bit...

Sump and pickup is different in the vitara, you will need to run a modified sierra sump and pickup as the vitara sump will smack the diff housing. standard sierra starter motor will also hit the block, upgrade it to a reduction drive or grind the side of the starter motor down until it clears the block. also vitara conversions are very dirty as the throttle body points towards the passenger side, its a messy bit of pipe work to make your way back over to the drivers side. Use Jimny Injection gear and camshaft with coilpack setup and baleno 1.6 injectors. The throttle body points towards the front then and you can make up a pipe to go back down to your sierra air box. |

sorry to sorta hijack thread but has anyone put a 1.5l twin cam swift motor in a sierra? like 2007 sorta model? seem to have good power/torque and are a half decent price. how easy a fit is it? or not worth the hassle |

By no mean's an easy fit, you will need a jimny g/box ( you just made a weak point) & all the plumbing & manifold's of a jim to, if you plan on using the swift Ecu you may want to figure out a way to either bypass the immob or run the swift bcm ( body control module). Once in tho, it would be very responsive & FAST!
