Well my rear wheel bearings have given up the ghost on the weekend (not quite 100% farked yet but the axel seals have let go and there is a HEAP of play) I have been told that my love for driving through water and mud helped in their destruction Also combined with my -24 offset wheels How often am I going to be looking at changing them? Im getting a bearing and seal kit from SKF tomorrow for a touch over a hundred bucks how many issues have you guys had with them? The job looks like a bit of a PITA as well |

Water, mud, big offset and ya gonna do them regularly. In the years having my sierra ive had to do the rears atleast 6 times. The quarry was the worst culprit! As was this

im running speedy 15x7's and 31's - rear wheel bearings are about 3 years old and still fine - not even needed adjustment yet. I have however had the passengers side front collapse after about 2years and did the drivers side at the same time just to be safe. |

Rear wheel bearings can't be adjusted If your going to pull it apart and have the time, consider the SJ410/LJ retaining plate thing. Will make future wheel bearing replacement somewhat less stressfull not having to disconnect the rear brakes |
