hey guys, got some questions with my carby. i think it shit itself it wont start, if i try to start it for to long it floods( of course) but then fuel comes out the side of the carby??? is that normal? i got a quote to rebuild it but i think $350- $450 is a bit high cheers marc |

ideally rebuild would be best but if you dont have the cash some guys will ell em off here in running condition sore one for $50 running perfect they said and $20 for an unknown so thats ur other option |

i have the exact same problem! its a little valve thats up the top l/h side on the carby. ( cars point of view ) my problem is the spring has lost its spinginess and wont seal it properly... cheapest way to fix it is g16b conversion =D |

Other than zookieboi's suggestion a rebuild is your best bet. You buy a 2nd hand one and inherit someone else's problem. Or a vitara carb. Don't know which one is utilised though |

looks like its a rebuild then cos i dont think a conversion is cheaper then $450. thanks for the help guys |
