has anybody haad any experience with 2" lifted ome springs in a 1.3 lwb sierra? Should i use the std load rating or one that is higher to account for the extra mass of the lwb?

If you are buying them get the heavies, easier to remove leaves that are already there than add ones you dont have :)

I have christover's OME springs from his lwb frog in my swb, he had them setup with both extra leaves in the drivers side.

I agree with Royce, I would go the heavy ones if I were you, take out the extra leaves till you break them in a bit, then add them later.

I got OME for my SWB, and they asked things such as my weight, do I regularly have a passenger, what load in the back etc.

Tell them that its a LWB and they will set you up with the correct springs, they are pretty good IMO.

i was wondering the same thing after getting a quote at ARB last week. im considering doing mini RUF or just starndard OME lift all round with fatzooks shackles. if i ultimatley want the most flexy and comftorable springs is starndard the best, or get the heavist and remove leafs straight away as you guys have said? i have a l.6 carb engine and an ARB bar, i some times use a trailer for camping gear and often have passangers. they recommeded a constant 29-70 something kilo load in the front and medium load in the back. is this the best way to go?

Id listen to those who make the springs: for they are the ones who rate them.

the guy at arb recommended the heavier load rating ones since i have a bullbar and recovery gear. ill remove leaves as i go. will post up the results.

i got the heavier load springs in mine. there are pretty good up the front but cause i have no weight in the back it makes the ride a bit bouncy and rough. thought about takeing some leafs out but thinking about inverting the socks in the rear. that might make it a bit smoother.
