hey guys im new to the site been reading as much previous forum posts about clutchs as i can most say standard exedy clutchs are the way or if u are gonna go a HD exedy clutchs get a HD clutch cable too. just put new diff centres in the rear, they were fucked. teeth were all chewed and eventually gave way to my right rear tyre nearly falling off! i thort it was the bearings in my tyre but my diff was fucked. ive got a 99 suzuki jimny with a 1.6L engine. there not the stock tyres, cant remember wat size they are from memory, will post later, anyhooo.... time for a new clutch. should i get the standard exedy clutch? |

G'day Good to see another Perth Suzuki owner here, welcome to Auszookers ! Dont know much about Jimnys... but i am sure the people who know them are here and can help you... but perhaps telling us what year, and what engine it has would help narrow it down... And a pic of said Jimny always helps and goes a longggg way here ! |

use an Exedy heavy duty clutch. You may find the pedal a little firmer, however in a jimny I don't see this as an issue, as the OEM clutch allows the pedal to fall to the floor far too easily. Don't use PBR. JMO Pete |

Mate i would just use a standard clutch. Many of us in our Sierras are running big tyres and more powerful engines with standard clutches and they hold up fine. Heavy duty clutches just destroy cables, assuming Jimny engines run cables, do they? |
