Does anyone have any idea what this carby is off of or how to tune it?? It came on my girlfriends zook when she bought it and the motor is a G16B. There is plenty of screws in the base of it and im not sure which one is the mixture screw??
Also is there an aftermarket adjustable drag link or centre link for the sj70 sierras?? I currently have a terrible turning circle when turning left but a really great one turning right. Here is a pic of the drag link and centre link in question, it appears as though someone has made this adjustable section themselves. both links have rooted tie rods.
Yet another question, what is this section on the front for?? it appears to be some sort of mounting point for maybe an idler arm or a stering component??
2nd last question! Is this a standard sierra fuel tank?? When we bought the car the tank was held in by two lengths of threaded rod, and was extremely dodgey. Not to mention the rear bar which the upper shockey mounts mount to was cracked and bent, due to the shockies being inverted and at FULL EXTENSION before the suspension even flexed. I made up a new bar and welded mounts up to secure the fuel tank properly, i also mounted the shocks vertically again so it doesnt break something until i can afford to get longer shocks.
Lucky last question! Does the front diff normally have steering bump stops on the swivel hubs or does the steering box limit the amount of steering you have?? And does it normally have a shocky mount welded onto it?? The front diff has a shocky mount welded onto it which i think is due to the previous owner not wanting to sell it with the long shocks he had so he made the lower shock mount higher to fit the crappy shorter shocks??
