hey guys my fuel tank has a massive dent that spans the entire bottom of the fuel tank from crease to crease its the injected model with the fuel pump in it. whats the best way to go to pop the dent and hopefully get it back to original shape? thanks in advance for any ideas

drain out the fuel clean the tank super well like your life depends on it ( it does ) heat the dinted area with oxy set and then using a rubber bung of some sort with a air nozzel fitted jam the bung into the fill hole and blow the dint out....

That wasn't flame throwing, just a statement of fact.

Doing anything with open flame in regard fuel tanks is a specialist job, or your dead.

I would find a good second hand one, or take it to someone who can vent the tank with inert gas before attempting to do it yourself.

hence why i said without the flamage :roll: think il just find a second handy anyone got a swb injected tank on the side if so im keen cash ready in west sydney area
