I thought i'ed chuck the question out there..

Out of all the sierra's I've owned they've all suffered from the same problem.

On steep hills the sierra gearbox has a problem where it leaks oil out past the gear shifter and boot and covers the undercarriage with gearbox oil.

has anybody seen a fix to this problem ?

i had a similar problem in my last car...

found a little rubber boot that bit pretty good and ziptied it into place.. worked a treat..
