I hate my Sunraysias, they're white in spots with surface rust everywhere else - the worst part of my car. I want to tart them up a bit and getting looking good as gold again - this time flat black. Would it be cheaper to buy new ones or reco the ones I have? I mean, i've never painted a rim in my life but how bloody hard could it be - a blast with a wire wheel then a few different coats of paint i'm guessing... I've still got a mountain of tread on my current tyres, and I dunno how much drama it'd be swapping them to a new rim. What's the best option? |

wire wheel then a bit of fine sand paper for a smooth surface then a coat of primer to give ita better cover and then coat or 2 of black paint |

flat black it a bitch to keep clean & they mark/scuff easy... i'd use satin or "saturn" black |

i just got all of my wheels bead blasted and powder coated for $40 each. Not a bad price i thought and the paint should last a fair while |

Yeah that's right but the new wheels will be rusty in a year or two while the powdercoated ones will still look good when the suzuki needs a repaint. and you saved $100 |
