Hey guys I'm after the Brand/Make and the Part No. off a Jimny Power Steering Box I'm interested to see if this same box may have been used on any other vehicles? on the off chance. They are very hard to find and there's not many being wrecked as I'm always on the lookout all round Oz so far with not much luck. Cheers Robb

I think it's a Koyo Box. Part number will be unique to the Jimny. I'm not aware of any equivalent.

There's very few RHD steering boxes that run inside the chassis rail.

The Cressida box is a fairly close fit though.

I didn't think Koyo made it for the Suzuki.
I thought they only made boxes for Audi,BMW,Jag and the likes of that.

vitara boxes are 100% koyo made.

Remydog05 - I Can't recall the orientation of the rangie box. (should - I owned one!)

Losfer is right the Jimny box is a Koyo. Attached is a photo of a Jimny box I fitted to my coily. I'm not sure what year Jimny it came from. It's part number (according to the casting on the box) is 48600-81A2.
